Cecelia: Windsor High School Senior

This senior session is particularly special for me. My baby sister, Cecelia (or Cece) and I are 8 years apart. When she was little, I kept wanting her to grow up faster, so we could hang out and do teenager things together. Now, she's a stunning high school senior and I can't believe how fast time has flown! So proud of all she's accomplished and can't wait to cheer her across the stage at her graduation. So, without further ado, meet Cecelia:

Senior year! How does it feel?! Has it hit you yet?

Senior year- wow, what can I say about it. Well, it definitely hit me, only recently though, because, well, for a while I still believed and referred to myself as a junior. Anyways, it feels great being on the top of the food chain at the high school because people look up to you and have a certain level of respect.

Describe how you felt walking onto the high school campus as a freshman:

When I was a freshman, I expected high school to be just like it was in the movies- people breaking into song every few minutes or the seniors bullying the freshmen- you know, typical freshman thoughts. But when it came to the moment where I got to school on the first day, I was shocked. People thought I was a senior and were really nice to me. Although, the campus was a completely story; it was massive and if I hadn't gone to registration with my big sister, Katie (pssst, she's the photographer) and had her show me around, then I probably would have been very lost.

What are you going to miss most about high school?

The thing that I'm probably going to miss about high school the most is all the friends that I have made and the people that I have grown up with my entire life. Now in this up and coming stage in our lives, many of us are separating and going in different directions. It's going to be hard on graduation day to say goodbye to them.

What are your plans for next year?

My plans for next year consist of going to the Santa Rosa Junior College to get my general education done and then I am going to transfer to a four-year. Also work, lots of work.

What's one of the best memories you've had while in high school?

One of the best memories that I have had in high school was probably. . . well, I don't know because I have had so many. That's the great part about high school- you make so many great memories that it is hard to just pin point just one of them.

What are you most looking forward to?

The part in my future that I am looking forward to the most is getting to study something that I am passionate about and getting to meet others that are interested in the same profession.

What's one of your favorite quotes and why?

My favorite quote is from How the Grinch Stole Christmas and it is as follows (brace yourself, this is a good one): "Max, HELP ME. . . I'm feeling!" I chose this quote because I think it's hysterical and I always tell myself that when I'm sad and it makes me feel better.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

In 10 years, I see myself having a masters in Psychology and Criminology, working for the Federal Bureau of Investigation as a profiler. That is my ultimate goal to achieve in my career, because that is what I have wanted to do ever since I started high school.
