San Francisco Baby Shower: Baby Wu

When Amy asked me to photograph her baby shower, I figured it would be at a friend's house, with streamers hanging from the ceiling, balloons floating in the air and maybe a DIY photo booth. OH HOW I WAS WRONG! I arrived at a.Muse Gallery and was completely blown away by what Amy and her planner had done! I can officially say I've been to the most beautiful baby shower ever thrown. This co-ed shower was complete with cookie decorating, whiskey tasting, lots of yummy desserts and more! Keep scrolling to see more and learn a little more about Amy & Willy <3

How did you and Willy meet?

Amy: We met through mutual friends

Was there a moment when you knew he was "the one?"

Amy: I think it was after we took our first international trip together!

How did he propose?

We bought our first home together in 2012. Willy proposed on the day that we got our keys.

3 years of marriage! What's your best relationship/marriage advice?

Don't be too stubborn and don't be afraid to apologize.

What was your guys' reaction when you found out you were pregnant?

Shocked!

What are the best and worst parts about being pregnant?

The best part is definitely knowing that I am growing a human inside of me and being able to share that with Willy.

The worst part is probably all the symptoms that come with being pregnant, especially the swelling. I basically live in my Birkenstocks now because nothing else fits :(

Any crazy cravings?

Not really but I do enjoy non-Asian food more now

What are your hopes and dreams for your baby boy?

I just want him to grow up happy and healthy! And hopefully, he's a kind-hearted human being :)
